Carol Joyce Maynard, 75, of Louisa, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022.

Carol was born on July 30, 1947 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to the late Joseph and Dorothy (VerPlank) Doran.

Carol was a retired tax preparer with H&R Block. She previously worked in medical billing.

Survivors include her husband Mitchell Maynard; children Michelle Maynard-Zalovaka and Brian (Sandie) Maynard; grandchildren Amannda Maynard, Alexandra Maynard, D.J. Zalovaka, and Devin Zalovaka; and brother and sister in law Glen and Marlene Doran. The family would like to thank the staff of The Jordan Center, Sharon, Gray, Lowell, Allen, Christina, Jason, Ron, Elaine, and Bonnie for all the love and care shown to Carol and Mitchell. So many people have supported us in this difficult time, and we are so thankful for all of you. There are too many people to name that have shown us such compassion and care.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Maynard Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Maynard and her family.
