Charles Franklin Marcum, 72, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at his home.

Frank was born December 5, 1949 to the late Harmon and Blanche (Varney) Marcum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great granddaughter Angel Ray; and brothers William (Elizabeth) Marcum and Thomas David Marcum.

Frank was a retired engineer from NASA and a member of Vinson Masonic Lodge #66 A.F. & A.M. Frank’s passion was music and he could play any instrument he picked up.

Survivors include his children Teresa Marcum, Michelle Marcum, and Charles “Chuck” Marcum; grandchildren Olivia Dillon, Ryan Marcum, Leslie Robinette, Victoria Doss, Kayla Robinette, Charles Marcum, Michael Fagan, Chase Marcum, and David Fagan; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Community Chapel Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Marcum and his family.
