Douglas Ellis, 79, of Prichard, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 12, 2022.
Doug was born November 22, 1942 in Louisa, KY to the late Curtis and Esther (McComas) Ellis. In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his son David Ellis and siblings Lorene Cottrell, Charlie Ellis, Virgil Ellis, Lucean Ellis, and Imogene Wallace.
Doug was a member of Little Hurricane Free Will Baptist Church and Vinson Masonic Lodge #66 A.F. & A.M. Doug retired from Marathon Petroleum as an Instrument Technician.
Survivors include his wife Billie Ellis; children Dale (Dawn) Ellis and Douglas Ellis; grandchildren William (Stephanie) Ellis, David (Kelsey) Ellis, Katelyn (Matt) Robertson, Hailie Ellis, Zach Ellis, Natalie Ellis, and Keith Willman; great grandchildren Bryson Robertson, Mahayla Ellis, Bella Ellis, and Dawson Ellis; and brother Russell Ellis.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Little Hurricane Free Will Baptist Church with Brother Virgil Pack officiating. Burial with Masonic Services will follow in the Ellis Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 10:30 AM until time of service at the Little Hurricane Free Will Baptist Church.
