The Lawrence County Youth Football League went 4-0 this Saturday with all 4 teams winning convincingly.
The youth league hosted Vinson on teams D, C, and B and the A team hosted Boyd County.
The D team started the day off winning 34-6. The defense held the Tigers to only 1 offensive drive resulting in a touchdown. The defense was lead by Conor Fitzpatrick, Colton Bentley, Way Way Raines, and Ty Muncy.
The C team put on a dominant first quarter in route to a 40-0 win. The Bulldogs scored on their first 4 offensive plays from scrimmage. The line dominated the game up front and open holes up for Kristian Johnson, Tucker Dixon, Lucas McDaniel, and Lucas Block.
The B team won their game 20-6. Colton Anderson, Colt Hutton, and Silas Rose all found the end-zone for the Bulldogs. Wyatt Maynard had a big game on the defensive side of the ball for the C team.
Vinson Tigers did not have an A team, so Boyd County traveled south to take on the A team Bulldogs. The Bulldogs raced out to an early lead and never looked back, winning 32-6.
