LC FISCAL COURT PASSES RESOLUTIONS

The Lawrence County Fiscal Court had a Regular Scheduled Monthly Meeting at the Lawrence County Courthouse, 122 S. Main Cross Street, Louisa, Kentucky 41230 on September 17, 2024 at 10AM. Judge Executive Phillip Carter was in attendance along with LC Magistrates David Pinson, Rick Blackburn, Michael Halcomb and John Scaggs.

MINUTES AUGUST 2024
The Fiscal Court approved Minutes from August 20, 2024 Regular Meeting. Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by Michael Halcomb. The Minutes from August 28, 2024 Special Meeting were also approved. Motion by Michael Halcomb 2nd by David Pinson. All in favor.

APPROVE TREASURERS REPORT, REQUEST AND APPROVE BILLS
LC Treasurer Josh Puckett said, “The County is still in the black and the Treasurers Report shows funds were taken from the Road Fund to pay KACo.” Motion by Michael Halcomb 2nd by John Scaggs. All in favor. There was no Treasurers Request. The Magistrates unanimously passed the County Bills with a Motion by Michael Halcomb 2nd by David Pinson.

HB1 GRANT RESOLUTION
THE HB1 Grant Resolution has 2 parts. The first Grant was for $75,000 to purchase gravel and stone for the Winter. The second part was for $125,000 to purchase equipment and upgrade vehicles. The magistrates unanimously agreed with a Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by David Pinson.

FLEX RESOLUTION
Deputy Judge Vince Doty said, “The Flex Resolution was for 1 mile of road to be blacktopped at Roe Creek, Brushy Creek, Right fork of George’s Creek and Little Cat.” The Magistrates unanimously agreed with a Motion by Michael Halcomb 2nd by David Pinson.

RESOLUTION FOR FD14
Resolution for FD14 is for $89,000 and will be used to obtain Bells Trace. Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by John Scaggs. All in favor.
