Louisa, Ky — The Lawrence Co. Lady Bulldogs held a Basketball camp for the girls of Louisa and surrounding areas last week with the highlight of the day being former Lady Dawg and Marshall University standout Taylor Porter speaking to the campers.

The campers were all smiles after the youth Basketball Camp.

The campers went from 9:00 am until 2:00 in the afternoon at the LCHS gymnasium as campers went from station to station learning from the Lady Bulldog coaching staff along with current and former LCHS players. Some of the stations that the youngsters went thru were shooting, ball handling, passing and rebounding.

Lady Bulldog Head Coach Melinda Feltner

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… We had a great camp with our youth. We ran them through various stations including ball handling, passing, rebounding, and shooting. Having Taylor Porter come and speak was awesome for our current Lady Bulldogs as well as our future players. Taylor is back home and we’re excited to have her here and able to work within our program. We’re definitely excited to get all those girls back out this fall in our hoops program.”
