DAWG 8TH GRADER NETS 23 POINTS 

Warfield, Ky. — Sheldon Clark Freshman Trey James had a monster game in a 76-62 victory over Lawrence Co. ( 1-3 ) on Tuesday night at Martin Co. Middle School where the Cards play their home games.

#50 Trey James a 6-10 Freshman for Sheldon Clark is making major noise on the recruiting trail. He had a triple double against the LC Bulldogs Tuesday night. ALSO SHOWN IS LC'S Lucas Maynard who had ten points for LCHS.  Click pic for video.

James had a triple double as he finished with 28 points, 17 rebounds and 12 blocks as the Cardinals moved to 2-1 on the season. 8th Grader Brady Dingess had 25 points and 5 assists.

Sheldon Clark will open up 57th district play on Friday night at Magoffin Co. ( 1-2 ).

The Dawgs were led by 8th Grader Cody Maynard with 23 points, Lucas Maynard and Noah Fairchild finished with 10 points apiece, Tyler Maynard tallied 9 points, Chase Sartin chipped in with 7 points and Alex Ratliff had 3 points.

Lawrence Co. will be back in action Thursday night at Tolsia with JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:30.
