On December 18th, 2018 at 4:35 pm Lawrence County 911 received a call reference a burglary that occurred in the Lowmansville area of Lawrence County. The caller said that two male subjects had entered a garage and taken pieces of coal equipment.

The caller identified the subjects as Danny Ray Robertson, 41 of Fort Gay, W.Va.  and Patrick Robertson, 27 of Fort Gay as the individuals who stole the items.

Upon arrival Chief Deputy Mark Wheeler spoke to the reporting party who provided information on the subjects as well as photos of them committing the burglary and theft as well as giving a description of the vehicle.

After getting the necessary information for the report Wheeler started checking around and looking for the vehicle. At 5:31pm Wheeler observed a vehicle matching the description of the one used in the theft on Highway 2565. Upon stopping the vehicle both subjects were located along with the stolen items.

Both subjects were arrested and charged with Burglary and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Jail.

Chief Deputy Mark Wheeler is in charge of the investigation and Wheeler was assisted by Officer Shane James of the Louisa Police Department.
