First accused Louisa prostitute arrested on meth charges;

But 2012 prostitution charges have disappeared from record…

Angela Nikki Smith is lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, awaiting extradition to West Virginia, along with the charge of Public Intox. Coty Parsons is lodged in the Western Region JailJared Webb, 30, of Ft. Gay was the 3rd Person Arrested for Making Meth in Ft. Gay and is being held at the Western Regional Jail. Angela “Nikki” Smith of Louisa, Coty Parsons, 25, of Ft. Gay and Jared Webb, 30, also of Ft. Gay were arrested separately in their home states and charged with Operating or Attempting to Operate a clandestine drug laboratory and conspiracy.

The US Marshall Cuffed Task Force arrested the three from an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriffs Department Drug Enforcement Unit.

They found Nikki Smith in Louisa and Coty Parsons in Ft. Gay, WV. According to reports, the suspects were found by a property owner at the owner’s autistic son’s campsite. They had been operating a lab at the location for a few nights.

Ms. Smith is a well known name in the area as she was the first person in modern history to be arrested and charged for prostitution in Louisa on October 12 in 2012 after Louisa Police Chief Greg Fugitt and his men conducted survellience and arrested Ms. Smith at the Budget Inn in downtown Louisa. Her arrest was based on her alleged attempt to “sell sex” for $10 to an undisclosed person who then reported the incident to the police.

But when Lazer staff went looking for what happened as a result of the prostitution charge, it was nowhere to be found. A deputy clerk in the Lawrence Circuit Court Ckerk’s office could not find a record of the Oct. 12 arrest. The clerk said she may have been able to get the charge “expunged from the record” for some reason.

The Ft. Gay Police Department also assisted in the meth case.
