This past weekend the 9th Annual Don Brumfield Memorial Softball Tournament was held in Louisa, KY.

We were blessed with very little rain once the tourney began on Friday night. 10 men’s teams and 4 coed teams chose to participate this year. Many friends, family members and other Louisa natives were present throughout the weekend.

The crowds for Friday night and all day Saturday were great. Don was smiling from heaven watching everyone play a game he loved. The Brumfield family would like to thank the following sponsors:  Lawrence County Attorney Michael Hogan, Down Home Grill, Glitzy Boutique, Levisa Lazer, #RISEabove, Joann Wonkovich, BSR Gravel Yard and Action Grafix.

Also want to thank Tolsia High School for allowing the use of their baseball field Saturday. Would also like to thank all of the volunteers that helped work on the field, umpire, cut the grass, or do anything that was asked of them, we couldn’t do it without any of you.
