29 ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY OVER HOLIDAYS

LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – JUNE 27 – JULY 5, 2017

THE NUMBER OF ARRESTS IN LAWRENCE COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING COUNTIES WENT THROUGH THE ROOF, FIGURATIVELY, AND NEARLY LITERALLY, AS THE REGIONAL JAIL CENTER REMAINS OVERCROWDED, WITH BETWEEN 265 TO 275 INMATES THAT WERE INCARCERATED AT THE REGIONAL JAIL DURING THE 4TH OF HOLIDAY PERIOD. 

OUT OF THE AT LEAST 130 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE IN THE NINE DAYS FROM 12:01 A.M. JUNE 27 THRU 11:59 P.M. JULY 5; 27 OF THEM WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY, WITH 6 MORE LAWRENCE COUNTIANS ARRESTED IN NEARBY COUNTIES (2 IN JOHNSON COUNTY, AND 4 IN MARTIN COUNTY). 

THAT IS COMPARED TO  AT LEAST 68 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE IN THE SIX DAYS FROM 12:01 A.M. JUNE 21 THRU 11:59 P.M. JUNE 26, OF WHICH 10 OF THEM WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY, WITH 6 MORE IN NEARBY COUNTIES (2 IN JOHNSON COUNTY, 2 IN BOYD COUNTY, 1 IN MARTIN COUNTY, AND ONE IN PERRY COUNTY). THAT IS ALSO COMPARED TO THE AT LEAST 98 NEW INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE IN THE EIGHT DAYS FROM 12:01 A.M. JUNE 13 THRU 11:59 P.M. JUNE 20, OF WHICH 20 OF THEM WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY, WITH 5 MORE IN NEARBY COUNTIES (4 IN JOHNSON COUNTY, AND ONE IN MORGAN COUNTY).

Caudill, 34, of Louisa, was booked on June 27, 2017, at 12:13 P.M., after being taken into custody by Sheriff Garrett Roberts of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

 

Stephanie N HallStephanie N Hall, 35, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; was arrested on June 27, 2017, at 3:30 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).
