Justin Harsha the Mayor of Hillsboro, Ohio awarded Frieda Crum Redkey a Proclamation from the City of Hillsboro for her 100th Birthday.
Louisa, Ky. is the hometown for many of Frieda’s relatives, especially the late Noreta (sister) and Don Hamilton. Nieces, nephews and wives, their children, and sister-in-law, Jan Crum, a total of 21 members from Louisa attended the 100th birthday celebration Saturday July 8, 2023 in Hillsboro, Ohio. Frieda is a Louisa High School graduate, the oldest and the only living sibling of five children born in Louisa.

I was one of the 21. This is Aunt Frieda, Noreta Crum Hamilton’s ( my mother) sister. It was such a honor to celebrate an amazing lady with family and friends of hers. She deserves a big recognition for such longevity that comes from a healthy lifestyle. We all can learn from her example. Also when I think of all the things she has seen and experienced through decades, it’s a wonderment.
