Lawrence County Clerk Chris Jobe announced Thursday that the first day to file as a candidate in the 2018 May Primary election is next week.
Among the offices open for election next year are all county officials, city offices, three school board positions, state representative and U.S. Representative.
The first day for Candidate’s to begin filing for the 2018 Primary Election is Wednesday November 8th. The filing period will last until January 30, 2018 at 4:00 pm.
Filing papers are available at the Lawrence County Clerk’s Office.
