13 ARRESTED FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY IN PAST WEEK

LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST JUNE 9 – 15, 2016

JAIL ARRESTS THIS PAST WEEK FROM THREE OTHER COUNTIES DROPPED COMPARED TO PREVIOUS WEEKS; LAWRENCE COUNTY STAYS SAME AS AVERAGE

From 12:01 A.M. June 9, 2016 to 11:59 P.M. June 15, 2016; 75 arrested individuals were brought into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of the 75 arrested individuals brought to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in that seven day period, 13 arrests were from Lawrence County. (On June 15, there were 17 arrests from surrounding counties brought to the BSRDC in Paintsville, zero were from Lawrence County). Those 13 individuals arrested in Lawrence County in the past week are the following:


 Kimberly MullinsKimberly Mullins, 42, of Louisa, was arrested on June 9, 2016 at 1:55 A.M., by deputy Mason Keefer of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED, • WANTON ENDANGERMENT-2ND DEGREE, • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED).

 

 

Jack D. SmithJack D. Smith, 42, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on June 9, 2016 at 4:20 P.M., when in he was taken into custody by the Lawrence County Court, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

William DerefieldWilliam Derefield, 62, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on June 9, 2016 at 11:46 P.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (NO VISIBLE INJURY).


 

 

Dianne YoungDianne R. Young, 55, of Louisa was arrested on June 10, 2016 at 4:18 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.


 

 

Roger BlackburnRoger Blackburn, 22, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; turned himself in June 10, 2016 at 6:35 P.M., to the Lawrence County Sheriff Department to serve a jail sentence with: CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

Richard GilkersonRichard A. Gilkerson, 21, of Fort Gay, West Virginia, was arrested June 10, 2016 at 7:23 P.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

 

 

 

Mark R. EllisMark R. Ellis, 52, of Louisa, turned himself in June 10, 2016 at 7:59 P.M., to the Lawrence County Sheriff Department to serve a jail sentence with: CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

 

Robert D. PowersRobert D. Powers, 23, of Louisa, was arrested June 11, 2016 at 2:41 A.M., by trooper Forrest Newsome of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE, • LICENSE TO BE IN POSSESSION, • SPEEDING 22 MPH OVER LIMIT.

 

 

 

Gary D. SizemoreGary D. Sizemore, 51, of Louisa, was arrested June 11, 2016 at 4:57 P.M., by patrolman officer Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO OR IMPROPER SIGNAL, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 4 OR >, • LICENSE TO BE IN POSSESSION.


 

 

Angel M. JohnsonAngel M. Johnson, 27, of Louisa, was arrested on June 11, 2016 at 11:28 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

 

 

 

Michael JudeMichael Jude, 51, of Louisa, was arrested June 13, 2016 at 7:00 P.M., by patrolman officer Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESSION, • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED, • ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF LEGEND DRUG, • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE.

 

 

Michael Andrew Ginson

Michael Andrew Gibson, 31, of Gallipolis, Ohio; was arrested on June 14, 2016 at 3:19 A.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.

Justin B Brooks, 31, of Louisa, was arrested June 14, 2016 at 9:13 P.M., by patrolman officer Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE), • WANTON ENDANGERMENT-2ND DEGREE.
