Lawrence Co. Head Coach Alan Short

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Very proud of our team last night. A good bounce back game for us. We challenged our team to go 1-0 last week. Happy we were able to do that. I thought we controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides.”

“…Fall break always presents a challenge to football programs. Very pleased with the way our team practiced and prepared last week on an alternate schedule.”

“… I felt our coaching staff had a great plan on both sides of the ball and our team was able to execute. Magoffin County is much improved and that is a testament to their Head Coach, John Derossett.”

“… I feel each time out, our team gets better. Excited to see more improvements over the last 3 weeks of the regular season.”

“… As always we will enjoy this one for 24 hours then turn the page to our last district opponent in Powell County.”
