COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Very proud of our team’s effort tonight. It was kind of the tale of two halfs for us. I think the major differences between the first half and the second half were we made the plays that showed up in the 2nd half and secured the ball better.”
“… Defensively, in the first half we felt we were kinda back on our heels. Our defensive staff were able to make a couple adjustments at the half that allowed us to play much better in the second half.”
“… I felt our offensive line was very dominant in the game. Cody Crum, Will McDavid, and Cavin Williams all ran hard and had great games.”
“… Estill County has a very nice team. They are going to be very good through the next several years. We are proud to be 1-0 in the district.”
“… Huge challenge next week in another district game. I know the kids in our program, and they will be excited to head to Pond Creek.”
